Iconic Omega Seamaster Professional chronometer 300m/1000ft in titanium with round blue dial in very good condition. The watch comes with large dots for the hours and three sub dials, hours at 6 o’clock, seconds at 9 o’clock and minutes at 12 o’clock. The hands are in stainless steel with arrow style. The hands in all sub dials are orange as well as the top of the chronograph hand. The watch has a blue revolving ceramic unidirectional rotating diver bezel. The date is at 3 o’clock. At 10 o’clock you have an additional crown with the Omega logo for helium-escape valve. The crown has the Omega logo and the pushers are screwed. It is a titanium case with engraved in the back “Seamaster - Titane”. Automatic movement with Omega caliber 1164. The watch comes with an Omega band “TI 826” and an Omega double clasp folder. The watch comes with an Omega box. The archive of the Omega watch is also provided.
The story of Omega started in 1848 with Louis Brandt when he opened a “Comptoir d’etablissement” a sales office for sub-contracted watch manufacture. In 1880, the brothers Louis Paul and Cesar Brandt set-up a modern watch production unit. In 1889, the company had a production of 100,000 units per year. The name of Omega only appeared in 1903. Omega has developed amazing movements such as the “Labrador” in 1885. In 1917, Omega provided watches to the British army and in 1918 to the American army. In 1957, the speedmaster professional was born and then selected by the NASA in 1965 as the official timekeeper. Today, Omega continues to demonstrate mechanical innovation and remain one of the most prominent brands in the world of watchmakers.
